CANNES 2022: THAT LION-WINNING FEELING

The Cannes Lions festival is all wrapped up and it was another successful festival for the Havas Group! This year our agencies took home a total of 34 Lions across 17 categories.

Our creative stars BETC Paris were the most awarded agency across the Group, taking away 9 Lions from the festival. Havas Middle East also had a very successful festival picking up 7 Lions, including the Grand Prix in Outdoor, while Havas New York and Havas Germany were awarded 4 Lions throughout the week-long festival. HOST/Havas, Havas Portugal, Havas Chicago and Havas Play celebrated 2 Lion wins each and Havas Milan, HOY Buenos Aires, Havas Paris, Arnold Worldwide, Havas Turkey and Havas Media France all picked up 1 Lion.

As the festival drew to a close on Friday, our Group’s most celebrated work at Cannes was Havas Middle East’s hugely successful campaign Liquid Billboad for adidas, which took home 6 Lions at the festival, including a Grand Prix in Outdoor on Monday. Staybl, Havas New York and Havas Germany’s work for the German Parkinson Association, was also recognised at the festival with 4 Lions, including a Gold Lion in Health and Wellness. BETC Paris’s Gender Swap for Women in Games was the recipient of 3 Lions, including a Gold including a Gold in PR, while Havas Play’s Undercover Avatar for Association L’Enfant Bleu won 2 Lions including a Gold in Creative Effectiveness.
